Retirement, savings, and insurance
Expatriates either receive a company-funded retirement plan, a company-matched savings plan with a range of insurance options, or an annual cash payment of 17 to 19 percent of annual base salary for employees who opt to make their own insurance and savings decisions.
Team members also receive additional benefits through the Saudi Aramco Incentive Plan (SAIP), a program designed to drive organizational performance by recognizing individual contributions beyond annual merit increases.
Repatriation allowance
Employees and eligible dependents residing in-country are paid annually for the costs associated with travel from Saudi Arabia to their home country.
Dependent education
The importance of educating our workforce and their families has been a company-wide priority since the founding of Saudi Aramco Expatriate Schools (SAES) in 1944. Today, SAES is recognized as a world-class educational system, with six campuses and more than 4,500 students. Facilities and curricula are modeled after North American schools, with spacious classrooms, small class sizes, media centers, art studios, music rooms, science labs, gymnasiums, sports fields, playground equipment, and the latest educational technology.
We also provide reimbursement packages for employees who wish to enroll dependents in private schools. To ensure a healthy balance of education and family time, travel reimbursements to and from Saudi Arabia are provided for students attending schools, colleges, and universities overseas.
Annual vacation
We want our employees to have ample time to explore and appreciate everything expatriate life has to offer, which is why we give expatriate employees 38 days of vacation leave per year, plus travel days.
Company holidays
In addition to annual vacation days, employees also receive 9 to 11 paid company holidays each year.
